The Project

Focus fish is a combined attention training system that combines physical phone locker with a connected digital experience to help create a sustainable focus environment for users. In this world where we engineered distraction, the huge wall of willpower can no longer stop those desires. My approach, Focus Fish App, removes temptation from the source while transforming effort into something that are visible, rewarding, and measurable. When "the source" is placed into the locker and set a timer, the user create the boundary between distraction and intention. Meanwhile, the virtual fish grows in real time, turning the minutes of discipline into something visible. The system is designed to facilitate consistency. By combining a real-world commitment with immediate feedback, users have a simple loop to repeat every day. Over time, small sessions build into longer periods of attention, better study habits, and reduced phone use during work sessions. The aim is not to have perfect focus but to have good focus, which becomes automatic.
