The Project

This project is a social media website where users can post, comment, repost, like, share, follow each other, and send direct messages. The idea started because I wanted a place where my friends and I could hang out and talk online without relying on someone else's platform. I also just really wanted to try building and managing a website completely on my own for the first time. The hardest part was connecting user profiles to each posts. It kept sending me to the wrong page or breaking completely. It took a lot of debugging and patience to finally get it working right, but when it did, it was one of the best feelings of the whole project.
