smart fan:”Kyoro-kaze-kun”
The Project
Kyoro-Kaze-kun is a smart fan made with LEGO and 3D-printed parts. It looks around to find a person. When it finds someone, it smiles and sends them a gentle breeze. If someone comes too close, it gets surprised and stops moving. I wanted to make a fan that was not just a normal fan, but a cute friend-like robot. That idea inspired me to create Kyoro-Kaze-kun. The hardest part was making it find people and turn toward them correctly. It was also difficult to make the LEGO parts and 3D-printed parts work together smoothly. I learned that by adding sensors, movement, and a little imagination, even a fan can become a fun and friendly robot.
