The Project

I have created a fun game using Scratch in my programming lessons. The aim of the game is to get through the levels and defeat the boss. The character has weapons to shoot the enemies as well as hearts to show how many lives the gamer has. The boss is really strong. The game took me a long time to make and I am very proud of it as it is one of my best scratch projects ever.

I like platforms and I have not made a game on scratch so I wanted to build one. I made it for my little brother Nathan who is 6. My Mum and Dad also have played it.

I learned that in the game there can be glitches. For example, sometimes when you have a few ‘sprites’ on the walls and floor you can have glitches where they can walk through the walls. I would like to fix this in future.

I would like to give the gamer invincibility when they reached the end of the levels. Also, I would like to make it possible for the gamer to go back through the portals and so you can continue having fun.
