The Project
Hi, I am Charvik Narula of Grade 7 from Manav Rachna International School. My project, “Don’t Get Caught!”, is a fun and exciting Scratch chase game where the player must escape from the teacher for as long as possible. The teacher continuously follows the player around the hallway, making the game challenging and fast-paced. The goal of the game is to survive for 10 seconds without getting caught. Every successful escape increases the player’s score by 1 point. If the teacher touches the player, points are reduced, encouraging the player to improve their movement and reaction speed. This project was created using Scratch coding blocks such as: Motion blocks Sensing blocks Variables for score tracking Forever loops Collision detection Through this project, I learned basic game development, logical thinking, and coding concepts in Scratch while creating an enjoyable and interactive game experience.
