The Project

My project is the AI Reptile Cage , a smart habitat designed to improve reptile care using AI, sensors, and automation. The system includes an AI camera, temperature monitoring, humidity control, heat lighting, and automatic LED day-and-night lighting to help maintain a safe and healthy environment for reptiles. I was inspired to create this project because reptiles are very sensitive animals and depend completely on their habitat conditions to survive. Many reptile owners struggle to constantly monitor temperature, humidity, and lighting, so I wanted to design a system that could automatically monitor the enclosure and reduce human error. One difficult part of the project was making sure the AI camera worked accurately in different lighting conditions, especially low light. Another challenge was keeping temperature and humidity readings accurate when conditions changed quickly. Through this project, I learned more about AI, automation, sensors, and programming while creating a smarter and safer habitat system for reptiles.
