Adaptive Music Therapy Platform
The Project
While volunteering at a school for people with special needs in India, I noticed that many individuals lacked access to trained therapists or reliable internet. This made me think, what if a system could respond like a human in real time, without needing constant connectivity? That idea led me to build an AI-powered adaptive audio system that reacts to a user’s facial, auditory, and chat-based inputs. The system analyzes emotions and adjusts sound output in real time, creating a responsive, personalized experience. One of the biggest challenges was making the system fast and reliable. Early versions were slow and inconsistent, so I redesigned it to run entirely on the device, reducing delays and improving performance. This project shows how AI can be engineered to work efficiently even in limited-resource environments, opening possibilities for accessible, real-time interactive systems.
