3D CV BASED CRICKET GAME 🎮

The Project

This project is a computer vision–based cricket game that uses only a device camera to detect full-body movements and enable gameplay without any physical equipment. The idea was inspired by my passion for cricket and the lack of access to basic gear like a bat and stumps. At the same time, I was learning computer vision concepts, which led me to combine both interests into a solution that is affordable, accessible, and engaging. The goal was to create a realistic cricket experience using just a camera. To achieve this, I incorporated physics-based mechanics such as ball bounce and motion behavior, making the gameplay feel natural and immersive. Players can interact with the game using their body movements, turning it into a fun and active experience. One of the main challenges was implementing accurate full-body detection using the camera, as well as simulating realistic ball physics. Ensuring smooth interaction between body tracking and game mechanics required significant effort and optimization. The entire project took around 25 days to complete.
