The Project
The journey begins with a welcoming green zigzag background. A friendly message invites the user to start their virtual tour of the world’s most iconic landmarks. Interaction: Simply click anywhere on the screen to begin the adventure. Interactive Virtual Tour: With every click, the project loads a new backdrop. Each slide features a beautiful photo of a Wonder along with two key historical facts: Taj Mahal (India): Highlights its stunning white marble architecture and its history linked to Emperor Shah Jahan. Petra (Jordan): Showcases the famous "Rose City" carved into pink stone and its history as an ancient trading hub. Machu Picchu (Peru): Explores the mysterious Inca Empire city located high in the Andes Mountains. Chichen Itza (Mexico): Features the famous Mayan pyramid and how its steps symbolize the days of the year. Colosseum (Italy): Details the massive Roman arena that could seat 50,000 people for ancient games. Great Wall of China (China): Focuses on the world’s longest wall built for protection, which is even visible from space. Christ the Redeemer (Brazil): Describes the giant statue in Rio de Janeiro as a worldwide symbol of peace and love.
