The Project
My project is about helping people report community problems easily using a mobile app. The app allows users to report issues like potholes, broken streetlights, and waste, so authorities can fix them faster. It helps users learn, speak up, report issues, and get correct information easily using their phones. What makes the app special is that it is designed for Ghanaian communities, uses simple language, local examples, and focuses on youth voices and community action. I was inspired by problems I see every day in my community . Many issues are not reported on time, and this affects people’s safety and daily life. I wanted to create a simple digital solution that gives everyone a voice . One challenge was deciding the best features to include so the app stays simple but useful . Another difficulty was thinking about how different users would use the app, especially people who are not very familiar with technology.
