The Project

🚧 Automatic Barrier System (Hardware) What is this project about? This hardware project creates an automatic barrier gate system using Arduino, an ultrasonic sensor or IR sensor, and a servo motor. When a vehicle approaches the barrier, the sensor detects it and automatically lifts the gate. After the vehicle passes, the gate lowers back into position. What inspired it? Inspired by automated toll booths and parking lots, the project aims to reduce manual effort, improve traffic flow, and enhance security in restricted areas. What was difficult? Challenges included accurately detecting vehicles, timing the servo motor movement, and ensuring the system resets properly after each cycle.
