The Project

What is this project about? This Scratch project is a recreation of a famous Bollywood comedy scene from the movie Welcome. It features Majnu Bhai stopping traffic on a busy bridge to paint a live scene with animals, causing total chaos and hilarious reactions from people and vehicles. What inspired it? The inspiration came from the unforgettable comedy of Bollywood films, especially Majnu Bhai’s over-the-top passion for painting in the middle of the road — a scene loved by many for its humor. What was difficult? The hardest part was timing the dialogues, animating the traffic and characters, and keeping the comedy feel just like in the original Bollywood scene.
