The Project

This project aims to help people confidently design their living spaces using a simple and intuitive app. The Designify App allows users to upload a photo of their room and drag customizable furniture stickers onto it, creating a visual layout that reflects their personal style. Inspired by my experience running a staging company, I saw firsthand how difficult and overwhelming it can be for people to choose furniture that fits both their space and vision, often leading to financial waste and landfill waste. I wanted to build a tool that made interior design accessible, sustainable, and fun. One of the biggest challenges was manually creating a large library of background-free furniture images; each one required individual editing and uploading, which was time-consuming but essential for offering users a wide variety of options. This project reflects my passion for combining creativity, technology, and sustainability to improve everyday experiences.
