The Project

Career Coach is an AI-powered app made to guide users through every stage of their career, from discovering career paths to skill-building. It’s a personal career advisor that offers assistance through career suggestions, and it's also an interactive AI chat meant to provide the user with personalized feedback. The inspiration came from my personal experience with the struggle of finding my future and watching other young students struggle with this confusing job search process. Many of them feel lost, lack confidence, or just don’t know where to start. We wanted to create a solution that not only supports people technically but also helps them build clarity in their career paths. One of the biggest challenges we faced was the time and effort it took to test the app and ensure the AI-powered responses were helpful and the designs were user-friendly. Designing the system to balance user preferences and skill sets was a complex task, but we’ve made some progress on it. We hope Career Coach can empower users to take charge of their future, with the help of this tool that advances with them every step of the way.
