Weather Monitoring System using DHT11 and Arduino UNO

The Project

We built a Weather Monitoring System using an Arduino Uno, DHT11 sensor, and a 16x2 LCD display. It continuously monitors and displays temperature and humidity, providing real-time weather updates. Inspiration: Inspired by the growing importance of climate awareness, smart farming, and home automation, I wanted to create a compact weather station that helps people stay informed about their surroundings and make data-driven decisions. What was difficult? The key challenges included: Ensuring stable and accurate sensor readings. Managing LCD updates in real-time without glitches. Avoiding display flickering and timing issues in the code. Applications: Smart homes for automatic climate control Greenhouses and indoor gardening Weather education and science projects in schools Early alerts for humidity-sensitive equipment or environments DIY IoT systems with optional data logging or cloud connectivity
