Periods are natural : Breaking the silence

The Project

This interactive Scratch story follows a young girl learning about menstruation through conversations with her mother, teacher, and friends. The project aims to break taboos, promote menstrual hygiene, and spread the message that periods are natural and nothing to be ashamed of. Problem: In many communities, menstruation is surrounded by taboos, shame, and misinformation. Young girls often face confusion, embarrassment, and lack of proper guidance when they experience their periods for the first time. There is a need for open, educational, and supportive conversations to normalize menstruation and promote menstrual hygiene. Scratch Solution: Build an educational game that teaches basic menstrual hygiene in a fun and respectful way.
