Smart shoes for Blind people
The Project
The Smart Shoes for Blind People is a wearable assistive technology project designed to help visually impaired individuals navigate safely and independently. The system uses ultrasonic sensors to detect obstacles in the user’s path and provides vibrational or sound feedback to alert the user. The entire system is powered by an Arduino microcontroller, and the components are embedded into a standard pair of shoes. This innovative solution enhances spatial awareness, helps prevent accidents, and aims to improve the quality of life for visually impaired users.
