Teasing to Students

The Project

Many students, especially girls, face harassment or teasing while coming to school. This creates a feeling of fear and insecurity, and may even affect their attendance and learning. There is an urgent need for a quick-response system to ensure students' safety on their way to school. "To solve this problem, we designed a safety system using a touch sensor. We placed the touch sensor in the students' school bags or uniforms. If any student feels unsafe or faces harassment, they can press the touch sensor immediately. Once the sensor is pressed, it triggers a signal to send the live location of the student directly to the nearest police station using a connected Raspberry Pi or similar device. An alert message is also sent, so the police can reach the spot quickly and take action. This project aims to ensure student safety in public places and prevent harassment with the help of technology and timely response"
