Kiwi Dash

The Project

This project features a kiwi dashing through a native forest. Along the way, it can collect Huhu grubs, Kowhai tree seeds, and Rata berries — all native to New Zealand. However, the kiwi must also watch out for stoats, an introduced pest species. If the kiwi hits with a stoat, it loses 1 life and 5 points, but the kiwi can squash the stoat, killing it instantly. The game was inspired by Subway Surfers, a popular game among kids and teens. One of the most challenging parts of developing this project was dealing with bugs — just when I fixed one, another would appear!
