Robotic vacuum cleaner

The Project

I designed my smart vacuum cleaner as a robot for cleaning a space station, for example on the Moon or Mars. I choose this location because it's essential to keep the habitat as clean as possible—fine dust could damage electronics and life support systems. In the design, I focused on reliability, sufficient power from two Li-ion batteries, and a simple construction. I used a NodeMCU v3 as the main control unit. Movement is handled by two TT motors connected to an L298N H-bridge, while vacuuming is powered by two DC motors that are switched on using a 5V relay. I created a large part of the model in Tinkercad, and I downloaded some parts from Makerworld. Currently, the vacuum is controlled manually using the WASD keys, but in the future, I plan to develop a fully autonomous version. The biggest challenges were ensuring reliable power from Li-ion batteries, controlling multiple motors, and keeping the design simple yet functional
