DRIVE BOT
The Project
Drive Bot is a gesture-controlled and Bluetooth-enabled remote-control robot that can be operated using hand movements or directly from a smartphone. What makes it unique is the combination of gesture control and Bluetooth-based RC functionality in one compact system. This project was inspired by my passion for robotics and a desire to create something both interactive and innovative. I wanted to explore how humans can control machines more intuitively, and gesture control felt like the perfect direction. One of the biggest challenges I faced was making the Bluetooth connection stable and responsive. I spent a lot of time researching, experimenting with different code structures, and changing pin configurations until I finally found a solution that worked reliably. It was a tough process, but it greatly improved my understanding of both programming and Bluetooth communication. Working on Drive Bot has not only grown my technical skills, but I hope it also inspires others to dive into the world of robotics and see what they can create.
