Warships of the rough seas

The Project

This is a project in which a warship controlled by you fights another ship. This project is a game in which a warship maneuvered by you fights an enemy ship. I chose to make this project because I loved warships. The only thing I found difficult was that the "Turret direction" variable did not tell the correct angle every time you looked at it, as it didn't record the direction every time you turned the arrow. Finally I got an idea. I attached a "Set Turret direction to (direction)" command to the "When R key pressed" and "When L key pressed" event blocks, so that made it record it every instant, so the variable now shows the correct direction every time you look at it. If I had more time, I would have added small turrets that turned round left and right depending of where you wanted to shoot and would have figured out why the arrow didn't go to the correct position and direction. Few more notes: "Front or back?" variable- tells which side the ship is going to move other than the left or right when you press the left or right arrow keys. (A ship can't turn on the spot, can it?) Example: If you press the right arrow key when the "Front or back?" variable says 'Front', your ship will turn 2 degrees and move two steps forward. "Port or starboard" variable- the direction in which you want to fire your torpedo. Arrow- The arrow is on top of your ship and points to the direction you are aiming. Must see notes- If you turn the arrow while your ship is firing, then the shells will go off course. If you hit an island, you will go back or forward depending on which side of you ship hit the island. Credits: I needed to do a google search for the shells. It was actually part of a bigger picture, but I took a screenshot of the Iowa class battleships' shells (Armor piercing shells, I think). INFORMATION: The ship that you are controlling in the game is HMS Hood. She was commissioned into the Royal Navy on May 18, 1920. She was sunk in the Battle of the Denmark Strait in 1941 as a shell landed in her magazines. The enemy ship is KMS Bismarck. She was sunk a few days after HMS Hood by about 15 Royal Navy ships. She was only 8 months old when she was sunk. The 'Last nine days of the Bismarck' and 'Hunting of the Bismarck' are very famous books about those fateful last days of the Bismarck.
