Co-MYAKU’s 12 Zodiac Animals
The Project
The Osaka-Kansai Expo is currently being held in Japan. At the venue, you can see characters called “Co-MYAKU Sign” all around. They look like they've split off from the official mascot, “Myaku-Myaku.” Many people are sharing their own creative versions of “Co-MYAKU Sign” on social media, and it looked so fun that I decided to make my own too! I created a series of “Co-MYAKU Sign” characters based on the 12 zodiac animals. I used Blender to model them and added armatures so they can move. The most difficult part was using the armature to make it look like it was transforming.
Judge Feedback
Unique way of making more people feel like they're part of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and really creative to include zodiac animals as a way of personalising the experience for them. Well done, Sosuke
