Pawn's Fate
The Project
Pawn's fate is a combination of an RPG and an old-school FPS, a complex multiverse divided into 22 worlds (not all of them finished) each one inspired by a different tarot card. The basic principle of the game is inspired by the recent lockdown situation we all had to live in. The idea is that we all have lost our connection with reality, for more than a year our world was forcibly reconfigured on digital grounds. I think these strange times are going to live scars on our collective mental health. My game storyline is designed as a mind reconfiguration challenge. You have to try to reconstruct your ego and regain control over yourself. The game was built in Unreal Engine 4.23, most of the assets were made in Fusion 360. For the characters, I have used Character Creator 3 and Zbrush core. By far, is the most complex game I have ever made, the enemy AI is working almost independently using a decision-based behavior tree. He is able to interact with the environment and its using sound and visual detection. All 2D artwork, character, concept, and the final design is my personal work
