Realistic Arms

The Project

Imitates an arm and moves with the mouse cursor, changing size depending on how close the cursor is to the body. Is able to do this 360 degrees around the sprite. 1. I wanted to make a shooter game where the player was able to move the shooter arm in a relatively realistic manner. I made use of maths i learnt in school such as Pythagoras and trigonometry. I made this last year but I never ended up submitting the project I now know what I was trying to make something which uses inverse kinematics. 2. As of now, the arms don't work as intended, I found positioning the arms difficult as they could be pointing in any direction. 3. I would like to fix it and make it work now that I am more experience at programming.
