The Project

Description for Judges and Public: Many people use personal vehicles every day, which increases pollution and harms the environment. To spread awareness, we created a Scratch project that shows the difference between harmful and eco-friendly transport. The project explains which types of transport are better for the environment, like bicycles, public transport, and walking. What inspired it: We saw many people using cars or bikes even for short distances. This made us think about promoting greener travel options through a fun and educational Scratch activity. What was difficult: It was challenging to show real-life transport effects in a simple way and to animate the different types of vehicles with correct messages.
