The Project

Sunita Williams is the daughter of Dr. Deepak Pandya, of Indian descent, and Bonnie Pandya, of Slovenian heritage. She considers Needham, Massachusetts, her hometown. Williams graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science.
