The Project

Colorful Spiralizer is a vibrant and visually appealing Scratch project that creates a beautiful spiral pattern using random colors and circular movement. The sprite (in this case, Scratch Cat) draws a colorful spiral by moving in a circle, continuously changing colors and creating a stunning, ever-expanding design. How it works: The Scratch Cat moves in a circular motion, while simultaneously changing the pen color with each step. As the cat moves, it leaves a trail that gradually forms a spiral shape, with the colors changing randomly. The spiral can be made tighter or looser based on the cat’s movement speed and angle. You can adjust the radius of the spiral and the speed at which it expands, giving you control over how large and colorful the spiral gets. This project demonstrates: Circular motion using angle control and movement. Pen extension to draw shapes and trails. Random color changes to create vibrant, multi-colored designs. Loops to continuously draw the spiral without interruption. It’s a mesmerizing project that combines art and coding in Scratch, with endless creative possibilities for creating different spiral patterns!
