The Project

Earth Around the Sun is an animation project that shows Earth’s yearly orbit, seasons, and day–night cycle. I used code blocks to move Earth along a smooth circular path around the Sun. I was inspired by astronomy class and planetarium visits. The hardest part was perfecting the orbit’s timing.
