DIASPORA APPLICATION SYSTEM

The Project

My project is called DiasporaMatch – an AI-powered web application designed to help people in the diaspora find suitable job opportunities and citizenship programs around the world. Users can upload documents like their resume or ID, and within an hour, the system uses artificial intelligence to analyze their information and match them with personalized results. This idea was inspired by seeing how difficult it is for people—especially students and migrants—to move to new countries and build better lives. Many don’t know where to start with job hunting or citizenship applications, so I wanted to build something that could make this process faster and easier. One of the biggest challenges was integrating AI into the platform and getting it to work in real time. I had to learn new skills like using Django and React, and how to connect everything to a real-time database. It was tough at first, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Through this project, I’ve learned that even as a student, I can build tools that solve real problems and help people globally. That’s what motivates me to keep going.
