Trigonometric Waves Animated
The Project
A Website that was made with the help of HTML/CSS, Javascript, Jinja, and Python (namely Flask). The site showcases animations of the trigonometric functions (Inverse ones too) made with the help of the turtle module of Python and renders them as per the user's request on the site. The animations are rendered dynamically onto the webpage with the help of Skulpt. Feel free to choose multiple options and mix and match to your heart's content. The project was inspired as my first swing at web development. As for the trigonometric waves made using turtle, I made those earlier and eventually ended up incorporating the concept into my first website. I wanted to include both my interest in Math and Computer Science in a common project. One difficulty was managing the various conditions in which certain trigonometric functions become not defined thus having to set up break points while looping. However, the biggest difficulty was having a way to render turtle animations onto a webpage. After many hours of research and development, I was able to incorporate Skulpt into my application to help me achieve that purpose. The project is also published on the internet with the help of PythonAnywhere and can be viewed at: https://aayan0207.pythonanywhere.com/trigonometric_waves_animated
