Arduino based Pulse Oximeter
The Project
This project involves building an Arduino-based pulse oximeter using a MAX30100 or MAX30102 sensor to measure heart rate (BPM) and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2). The sensor detects changes in light absorption by oxygenated and deoxygenated blood, processing this data to calculate the required parameters. The Arduino microcontroller interfaces with the sensor, and optionally an OLED display, to show real-time readings. The system continuously updates the measurements and displays the results on a screen for easy monitoring. This project offers a practical, DIY solution for health monitoring and can be further enhanced with features like data logging or alerts.
