Escape North Korea (Escape Room)

The Project

This project is a puzzling escape room about a person attempting to sneak out of North Korea for a better life. The scratch project goes along with a google slides document with puzzles and trivia questions. Once the questions are answered, the player is given the link to the scratch project to play the final game. When submitting this, I intend it not to just be the scratch project, but the google slides question part as well. When playing the game, the player is meant to start with this link found below that later links to the scratch project at the end. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1mAlAL7NHC4mATrIAHsMI1Mrnmi9WW4Kuaz7YhLmCkjc/edit?usp=sharing

Team Comments

I chose to make this project because...

I originally created this as a final project for a game design class but went further with it and created an extra scratch game at the end and expanding the questions. I liked how it was coming along so I kept creating and perfecting it until it worked as a full playable escape room game.

What I found difficult and how I worked it out

When making this project, I ran into a problem with the answer sheet in google forms and couldn't figure out how to create a quiz with correct and incorrect answers. After researching this for a while, I figured out how to fix the problem. I also overcame bugs in my scratch project.

Next time, I would...

If I was given more time to work on this, I would expand on the story behind it and add more detail and effort into making sure the storyline worked and was engaging. I also would work more on the scratch code so it was more user-friendly.
