The Project

In our project, we aim to reach an initial planning for the electrical heart activity (ECG) using available software (Microsoft Excel and simple electronics (Arduino) that can be purchased at home and used easily, to check on the health of the heart and refer to the specialist doctor in the event that required it, where Treating heart disease is easier when it is discovered early. With a specific disease.We have learned the language needed to connect the Arduino to the heart activity monitor to read electrical currents related to the heart activity on one side, and to the computer on the other hand, where we used the Data Streamer software to feed this data to (Excel) in order to process it mathematically to extract the results, as well as to represent them Finally, we learned a preliminary analysis of the ECG and programming it as mentioned above. We interviewed Dr. Hani Shrih, an internal medicine and cardiologist at Al-Amal Hospital in Jenin City, to brief him on the work mechanism used in the project and to discuss the development prospects.
