The Project

This project shows the rise in temperatures and the negative effect of human activities. It presents data in a concise and color-coded manner. Simple CSS and HTML were used to make a webpage displaying the data.

We chose to make this project because...

With increasing temperatures worldwide, it is imperative that we spread awareness about it. This project shows the problem and also some solutions to help tackle it, making it both informative and helpful for the world.

What we found difficult and how we worked it out

Brainstorming ideas and collecting data. The team met and discussed about various topics, ranging from games to a mobile app. This was done to help spark an idea for the project. Data collection took the repetitive task of noting down and calculating the averages and finding sources.

Next time, we would...

Make the page interactive, add more parameters like forest cover over time, industries over time etc.
