We needed to make a video game based on the theme of "stars" for a school project. We had an idea to make a game where a gem gets stolen and causes the city to break. We love playing open-world, story-based adventure games so wanted to create our own.

We had lots of problems with some parts of our game being skipped and not working as expected. We asked our teacher for help and it turns out that we put the code in the wrong order, we learned to use variables to set different conditions. This helped us with adding cut scenes and different levels.

We are focusing on finishing telling the main story of the game. We want to add more things to do, like side quests given by NPCs, places to explore, enemies to fight and items to collect - maybe even unlocking new abilities and upgrades.
