The Project

This is a 2d minigame inspired by one of my favorite games minecraft. I decided to put some of my skills that I have gained by coding in scratch for a couple of years to the test and try to make a nice and polished game.

Team Comments

I got really excited when I saw the coding competition, and wanted to create something for it to not only participate in the coding community, but also test my scratch skills that I have built up.

Some of the polishing on the player character and menus was a little challenging. Creating a game that is well put together and feels nice to play is very hard. I kept trying out different approaches to see what feels right and went with it.

I would add a larger variety of items so that I can add more diversity to the gameplay.
