Levio

The Project

Levio is a mobile application designed to assist individuals with Parkinson's disease in managing their symptoms, tracking medication schedules, and providing resources for better symptom management and overall well-being. The app combines various features to address different aspects of Parkinson's disease, allowing users to take control of their condition and improve their quality of life.

I chose to make this project because...

I was inspired to create Levio as I witnessed firsthand my grandmother suffering from the disease and feeling terrible that I could not improve her condition in any way and had no idea of her overall condition. I also wanted an accessible method that could allow her to actively combat Parkinson.

What I found difficult and how I worked it out

The most difficult part was figuring out the coding language I used as this was the first time I used it to create an app. I overcame this by analyzing the code of the apps others made and learning what each line of code does. I also watched many YouTube tutorials that also taught me about the code.

Next time, I would...

If I had more time, I would like to flesh out more aspects of my app by adding more to the community section of my app and adding actual exercise videos along with speeches into my app. Also, I want to implement a way for me to record audio and video for the app to analyze with AI.
