SPA: Star Protection Agency

The Project

SPA: Star Protection Agency is a comedy action game. We used royalty free music and images to make our game look and sound cool. As an agent of SPA, your job is to protect the stars of Orion's Belt from hordes of aliens! If the aliens claim Orion's Belt, they will be to take over the universe. At the controls of your ship, The Jet Blazer, you have 2 minutes to defeat the endless waves of alien enemies and save the universe!

Team Comments

We needed to make an original game for a school project. It had to relate to the theme of "Stars". We wanted to use Scratch to make a funny and action-packed game.

Making sure that we avoid any copyright issues but still using cool visual and audio asstes. We used Pixabay to download royalty-free pictures, music and audio FX. We have had some glitches and unexpected outcomes with our code for the aliens - some of these actually worked well so we kept them.

If we had more time, we would add a multi-player mode and a boss battle. We would like to add more story elements through cutscenes and narration. We are working on adding more levels so that our game changes as you continue to play.
