PawsGuard is an innovative dog collar designed to assist visually impaired canine companions. The collar incorporates a micro:bit sensor to guide these dogs and prevent them from colliding with obstacles in their surroundings.

We struggled to locate and purchase the sensor. We finally ordered it and it arrived a couple weeks later and we were able to program the Micro:bit to start our testing. The time frame to get our Science Expo project ready was also quite tight and we have to manage our time well.

If we had more time we would perfect the final product . We used a remote control car to test the prototype collar due to ethical reasons. It would be really beneficial to test the prototype on a blind canine.
