We chose to make this project because...

We chose to create this project to help promote safe social distancing in crowded public places during the COVID-19 pandemic, aiming to reduce the risk of virus transmission and protect public health.

What we found difficult and how we worked it out

We found it challenging to accurately calibrate the distance sensor to ensure reliable measurements in various environments. We resolved this by testing the sensor in different settings and adjusting the calibration parameters to achieve consistent and accurate distance detection.

Next time, we would...

With more time, we might enhance the project by integrating a real-time alert system, such as a buzzer or mobile notifications, to provide immediate feedback, and by improving the sensor's range and accuracy to better suit various public environments.
