Green Guard System : A Smart Dustbin

The Project

In our society, the issue of cows ingesting harmful plastic waste is a significant concern. Improper disposal of plastic by humans often leads to severe consequences for our environment and the animals within it. To address this problem, we have developed an innovative solution: the Smart Dustbin. This advanced device, equipped with a distance sensor (ultrasonic sensor) and a servo motor, is designed to mitigate the issue of overflowing garbage and its detrimental effects on our cows. How It Works The Smart Dustbin employs a distance sensor to monitor the fill level of the garbage. When the bin approaches its capacity, the sensor detects the proximity of the waste. Upon reaching the threshold, the sensor activates the servo motor, which closes the lid of the dustbin. This mechanism prevents animals, such as cows, from accessing harmful waste, thereby reducing the risk of health issues, including cancer, caused by ingesting plastic. By implementing the Smart Dustbin, we can protect our cows and contribute to a healthier environment.
