The Project

This project is named space.io, you learn interesting facts about the solar system relating to science, as well as having fun! You can discover information about the different planets and test your hand-eye coordination skills!

I chose to make this game to create a platform where you can learn information about the environment around us and, most importantly have fun! You can play the game as many times as you want while discovering interesting facts about all the planets in our solar system.

In order to create clickable sprites, I had to take screenshots of each planet and then place them, as well as linking them to the background that contains the information about it. This was quite time consuming but I managed to complete it.

I would perhaps create my own sprites on a digital art app but as I was required to finish it in time for the deadline, I improvised by using images from websites. I would also consider creating a different game after discovering each planet's facts so that users can enjoy multiple experiences.
