I chose to make this project to enhance home security with modern technology. Utilizing RFID and Arduino for a smart door lock provides a convenient, keyless entry solution that is both secure and customizable, demonstrating practical applications of electronics and programming.

I found integrating the RFID reader with the Arduino challenging. I resolved it by carefully debugging the code, double-checking connections, and consulting online forums for troubleshooting tips.

With more time, I would add Wi-Fi connectivity for remote access and monitoring, and implement an emergency power backup system to ensure the lock remains functional during power outages.
