The Project

I've created the classic 2048 game using python. The project is simple and allows me to recreate the game of 2048. It's fully functional and fun to play.

I chose to make this project because...

I chose to make this project as I wanted to see how hard programming in python would be. It was a very enjoyable experience. I used the pygame library for this project and picked up several useful programming skills along the way.

What I found difficult and how I worked it out

I found mastering the tile movement and merging animations difficult. It was hard figuring out the code in order to accomplish this. After a while though, I managed to make it work and the results satisfied me.

Next time, I would...

I would love to improve the merging and moving animations as well as the overall performance of the game.
