Smart agricultural solutions
The Project
"I have shown five ways by which we can convert a simple agriculture into a smart agriculture 1 - Water is a precious resource, which which is depleting day by day so the farmer can use drip irrigation. Drip irrigation is the simple method in which plants are grown in a rows and the water is supplied through using small pipes. Water Dripped down slowly, directly to the roots of the plants. 2 - The wheat and the mustard crops were damaged due to unseasonal rain so to protect them, here I am using rain sensor two servomotors , bread board and arduino-uno bored. When the rain sensor detect the rain the two servo motors rotates 90° and make a shadow on it.When it is dry by the sunlight or the wind the shed will automatically open. 3 - Animal can also enter into the field and eat the crops so here I am using a touch sensor as a farm security whenever the animal will try to enter In it, the buzzer will turn on. 4 - As we have always seen in the field that the scarecrow is not moving even the birds sit on it so here I am using a DC motor to rotate the scarecrow. 5 - Solar energy is an inexhaustible resource Solar panel converts solar energy into electrical energy. So here I am using the solar panel to power up all the appliances and when there is no Sun the light will automatically turn on. "
Team Comments
I chose to make this project because...When I went to my father’s friend farm. There I saw that wheat and mustard crops were damaged because of unseasonal rain so I have decided to do something for farmers
What I found difficult and how I worked it outDifficulty which I had face was coding problem and took help from my senior to solve
