The Project
It works with the players control using the game controller to move Mario left, right, jump, and perform actions. The game engine simulates Mario's movements, including gravity affecting his jumps and falls and collisions with objects. Mario interacts with various objects like platforms, enemies, coins, and environmental elements designed to create challenges and puzzles. We created levels and environments with increasing difficulty for Mario to navigate, for upcoming obstacles and rewards. We also created Mario's appearance and animations, making him visually appealing and expressive. Sound effects and music enhance the gaming experience

I chose to make this project because...This project was made to show and learn how retro gaming works, fostering an appreciation for the nostalgia and technical ingenuity of classic games.
What I found difficult and how I worked it outCoding the Goomba and Bowser’s Spawn area and how to make their code. Sometimes the project became so heavy that it crashed. It was worked out by reusing some old code, making bowser’s area quite cleaner than before and deleting old unused code or images.
Next time, I would...I would try to fix the flying mechanism in Mario.
