Arduino based RADAR System
The Project
In this project, we designed an Arduino radar project using an ultrasonic sensor for detection. An Arduino microcontroller makes electronics more disciplined. This Arduino radar project aims to achieve a radar system prototype based on an Arduino board that also detects stationary and moving objects. we have used servo motor, ultra sonic sensor and arduino board After uploading the code, the servo motors start running from 0 to 180 degrees and again back to 0 degrees. An ultrasonic sensor also rotates along with the servo as it is mounted on the motor. Now, run this processing code. If your code is right, then you will get a new window. This is the graphical representation of data from the ultrasonic sensor, which is represented on a radar-type display. If an ultrasonic sensor detects any object within its range, you can see the same in the graphical representation. The below gif shows the output of the Arduino radar project.
Team Comments
We chose to make this project because...To get multi benefits as Radar is to send and receive valuable information in the form of waves. RADAR is helpful in detecting incoming signals during war and also used by a geologist for earthquake detection. Archaeologists use this technology for detection of buried artifacts.
What we found difficult and how we worked it outto get graph it was difficult to do
Next time, we would...yes, we want to use Radars to detect and track aircraft, spacecraft, and ships at sea as well as insects and birds in the atmosphere; measure the speed of automobiles; map the surface of the earth from space; and measure properties of the atmosphere and oceans.
