CODE CLUB COOLEST PROJECT - Currency Conversion (Maker Lab))

The Project

Our project focuses on a currency conversion program implemented in Java using the DCODER application. The program facilitates the conversion of currencies from and to five different country currencies. The workflow of our program is straightforward. Initially, the user is prompted to specify the currency they wish to convert from and the currency they want to convert to. Following this, the user enters the amount they wish to convert. Upon entering the amount and pressing enter, the program calculates and displays the converted currency on the screen.

We chose to make this project because...

We decided to create a currency conversion project because we wanted to challenge ourselves and practice our problem-solving skills using Java. By working on this project, we aimed to learn more about how to convert different currencies and improve our programming abilities.

What we found difficult and how we worked it out

The toughest part of this project was figuring out how to use five different formulas to convert currencies. It required careful planning and organization to ensure each formula worked correctly. Despite the challenge, successfully implementing these formulas was a rewarding accomplishment.

Next time, we would...

Expanding the list of countries for currency conversion is a great idea to enhance the versatility and usefulness of our project. By incorporating additional currencies and countries, we can provide users with a broader range of options for their currency conversion needs.
