Kevin's Quest

The Project

Kevin, a young inventor, is on a quest to complete his time-travel portal. He needs a Quantum Coil and a Dimensional Key, found only in the Blackout Zone, guarded by the ancient entrance and Robo Rats. Kevin must solve a riddle to enter, dodge Robo Rats, and collect the quantum coil and dimensional key.

I decided to make this project because I wanted to try using different Scratch blocks like events, variables, conditionals, broadcasts, and sensing. The idea of making a quest with tricky things like riddles and Robo Rats seemed like a fun way to build a Scratch game. It let me be creative and solve

The most challenging parts were creating a moving background and recording audio for the sprites.Moving the background was tricky because I had never done it before.But with a bit of help from my mum, I figured out how to program it, and it worked!I thought recording audio would be easy.

If I had more time, I'd add more levels with different challenges.
